The Fontbrune outfitter, located at the edge of the Baskatong Reservoir and of Lake Piscatosine for many years, has known several owners, each contributing their contribution to the building and making the site grow. Since May 2021, it is now Jessica and SĂ©bastien who have the pleasure of bringing you there to welcome. â
Our dynamism. We have plenty of ideas and projects. We want to enrich this place to offer you an even more memorable experience.
A few examples of new things since our arrival: the rental of personal watercraft, a convenience store, 6 wilderness campsites, a new chalet, and a hockey deck for children⊠And many other projects on the way.
Forget the idea of old cabins without electricity, here everyone can have a good time with their family or Located in the Upper Laurentians at the edge of the Baskatong Reservoir, 45 minutes from Mont-Laurier, Pourvoirie Club Fontbrune Ltée is first and foremost a vacation spot in nature. In summer, enjoy the lake for fishing or water sports. In winter, snowmobile through the forest or discover ice fishing. Stay in our cottages at Ferme-Neuve.

From Montreal , approximately 3h-3h30: highway 15 North, then route 117 North to Mont-Laurier, and then route 309 North to Ferme-Neuve, near the Baskatong Reservoir. At the entrance to Ferme-Neuve, turn left to take the Montée Leblanc and continue for 31 km (the first 20 are paved).

Yes, the last ten kilometers are not on asphalt, but the road remains passable even with a small car by adapting your speed.
Wi-fi is free and available at the lodge and in front of the lodge. There is no wi-fi in the chalets.
There is no mobile network (calls, texts, voicemail) at the outfitter. To have the network, you can go to km 29 on the road (we are at km 31) or to certain places on the lake. Otherwise you can send your messages and make your calls via Messenger, Whatsapp, Facetime and other apps that use wi-fi, at the lodge. Or just take the opportunity to take a disconnection break đ
In a chalet: arrival is possible from 3 p.m. If you arrive before, you can park next to the lodge and enjoy the lake and the surroundings, but if the chalet is not ready yet, you will have to keep your stock in your vehicle.Â
On arrival, please go to the reception of the lodge to get your key. In order to not hinder the cleaning staff work, please do not directly go to the chalet without first going to the reception, especially if it is not 3p.m. yet.
If you intend to fish, please provide us with your fishing license number so that we can enter it in our register.Â

In a chalet: The chalet must be free before 11 a.m. Please do your dishes before your departure, otherwise additional costs may be charged.
Camping: The campground must be free before 12 p.m. Please bring your waste to the waste trailer located at the entrance of the outfitter.
Dogs are allowed, but must be on a leash. In the cabin, only one dog or cat is accepted, with a $25 fee for the stay. If your dog tends to climb on the couch or on the beds, please bring blankets accordingly.
The closest grocery store is the Ferme-Neuve IGA, 32 km away. If you are missing something and donât feel like making the trip, we have a small convenience store at the lodge. (Summer only) Please note that we do not sell tobacco.

Yes, your stay in a cabin or occasional camping comes with the possibility of putting your boat at one of our docks at no additional cost.
Yes, the trails pass right next to the outfitter. Note that these are federated trails and that you will therefore need the sticker (available only on the QuĂ©bequad – FĂ©dĂ©ration QuĂ©bĂ©coise des Clubs de Quad, we do not sell them at the outfitter).
Winter yes.
In the summer, only the fitted sheet and the bath mat are provided. Remember to bring your pillows, blankets, bath towels, washcloths, dishcloth and sponge.
